Where to find a game of chess in Stockholm 57

Most games in Stockholm are played at club evenings, and the clubs on this page meet somewhere in the county on nearly every day of the week. The busiest single address is the Schacksalongerna at Ringvägen 9 B on Södermalm, run by the Stockholm federation, which is open most weekdays, hosts several clubs and many tournaments, and has a café. Near Stureplan, Svarta Hästen is a bar whose tables are chessboards, open in the evenings from Wednesday to Sunday.

For a game without joining anything there is the Sunday group Stockholm Chess at Teaterbaren in Kulturhuset, Schacklördag workshops on some Saturdays in the same building, the outdoor boards in Kungsträdgården, and Schack på Plattan on Sergels torg in a few summer weeks.
