Privacy and data use

What the form sends

When you press send, the form passes on the name you typed, the contact details you chose to give and your message: which place, what should change, where it can be checked and your connection to it. The address and language of the page you wrote from go along with it. A hidden field that people never see is there only to stop automated spam.

How messages are used

Messages are stored by a form service and read together at the next revision of the directory. They are used only to check and apply what you report, and a reply is sent only when a message asks for one and leaves a contact. Names and contact details are never published, sold or passed on to the club, venue or organiser concerned; a correction shown on the site describes the change, not who sent it.

Counting visits

Visits are counted by a script served from this site's own domain. It sets no cookie and does not follow anyone onto other sites. For each page view it records the page, the page that linked to it, and the browser, type of device and country derived from the request, and these are only looked at as totals.

Nothing from third parties

The site loads no advertising, social-media or other third-party tracking code, and no outside fonts, map tiles or images. A link to a source or a map leads to another website, which has its own privacy rules. The host that delivers these pages processes technical data such as IP addresses only as far as serving them requires.

Your rights under the GDPR

To have a message you sent deleted or corrected, write again through the form with the same name and contact and say what you want. The change is made in the form service at the next reading of messages; no confirmation is sent unless you ask for one and leave a contact. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
