Blitz (blixt) at clubs in Stockholm 7

Blitz, called blixt in Swedish, is the quick game with a few minutes on each clock, and several Stockholm clubs give it a fixed place in their calendar. Kristallens SK on Södermalm holds an open autumn blitz, Kungstornet in Vasastan began its season with a blitz evening and has played a club blitz championship, and Järfälla SS plays rapid and blitz grand prix rounds on Monday evenings from 19:00.

Wasa SK has run a three-part rapid and blitz series in spring, JSCA SK has organised blitz opens at the Schacksalongerna on Ringvägen, and Södertälje Schacksällskap plays a monthly blitz at the end of each month on its Tuesday club evening. Farsta SK lists blitz among the forms of chess its members play. Each card says which page gives the date or the rhythm of the blitz.
