Stockholm chess anyone can join 13

Each of these entries rests on a page that says visitors may come without being a member. In the centre, the Stockholm Chess group invites everyone to casual games at Teaterbaren in Kulturhuset every Sunday from midday, Kulturhuset holds free Schacklördag workshops with instructors on some Saturdays, and in summer the federation brings chess to Sergels torg on weekday afternoons for children, adults and passers-by with no prior knowledge needed.

The Schacksalongerna on Ringvägen welcome guests during their opening hours, and the federation's school-break tournaments there, at Easter and in the autumn half-term, can be entered by any junior without a club. Several clubs say the same of their own evenings, including Stockholms Schacksällskap, KTH Chess Club, Kungstornet, Nacka-Värmdö SK, SS Gambit Norrtälje and SS Delectus.
