Chess training for children in Stockholm 20

Children in Stockholm usually learn chess in a club's junior group, once or twice a week, sorted by level. The largest Saturday training is Trojanska Hästen's at Vallatorpsskolan in Täby, and weekday groups run at Farsta SK in three places, at Wasa SK at Norra Real, at Stockholms Schacksällskap on Ringvägen, at Solna-Sundbyberg SS in Sundbyberg, at Kista SC KFUM in Akalla and at SS 4 Springare in Vasastan.

Beyond the weekly groups there are other ways in. SK Cirkus has held a summer camp for ages seven to fifteen at the Schacksalongerna, Kristallens SK on Södermalm adds a junior autumn tournament to its Thursday group, and the federation's Schack i skolan programme brings chess lessons into schools across the county. Fees, where a club prints one, are on its card.
