Stockholms Schacksällskap trains juniors of all levels on Tuesday afternoons, and Kungstornet in Vasastan has a training hour on Wednesday evenings at its club rooms.

In Norrtälje, SS Gambit shows newcomers the rules from the start at its Wednesday evening in Folkets Hus. The SIS Chess junior grand prix has had groups for beginners with or without a clock, and Chessparty, a two-day chess festival in Avicii Arena, calls itself a festival for everyone from beginners to grandmasters. Other clubs may take beginners too, but their pages do not say so.
