Chess clubs in Stockholm for members or pupils only 4

These clubs exist for a defined group and are not places to drop in for a game. Seniorschack Stockholm is a club for older players that keeps a room at Rioträffen on Gärdet open for its members on weekdays, and also plays series and club championships at the Schacksalongerna on Ringvägen. Essingeskolans SK, on Stora Essingen, was set up to give pupils of Essingeskolan a chance to play in their free time.

SK Cirkus is a newly formed club whose members include some of the strongest juniors in the country; it has run a blitz tournament and a summer camp at the Schacksalongerna. Djurgårdens IF Schack, the chess section of the sports club, plays in Allsvenskan and says it holds club evenings at Stockholms Stadion. To join, contact the club through the page linked on its card.
