Clubs in Stockholm that play rated tournaments 19

For these clubs a season is built around tournament games: a club championship, often called KM, played one round a week through the autumn, team matches in Allsvenskan and the Stockholm leagues, and the odd open. Stockholms Schacksällskap plays its autumn tournament on Tuesdays at the Schacksalongerna, Wasa SK holds its club championship at Kungsholmens kulturhus, Kungstornet has started a long-game championship on Wednesdays in Vasastan, and Täby SK runs an open club championship from October into February.

Several clubs also hold events that players from other clubs may enter. Kristallens SK has an open autumn blitz on Södermalm, JSCA SK has run blitz and rapid opens at the Schacksalongerna, and Lidingö SS held its first external cup in October 2026.
